Bag for the Man

Men no longer are throwing there gym
gear in a free Fitness First back pack.
Not to be outdone by their girlfriends
they are carrying slouchy cool bags that
hold all the things they need to get
through the day.
I love the simplicity of the ones I
photographed here. They do not scream
out man bag and they are simple and
functional. Masculine and honest.
'Honest' might sound an unusual word
to use in association with style,
but I think men often dress with this
word in mind, or at least subconciously.
That is why utilitarian street fashion
has so much longevity. It speaks of
authenticity and practicality. Like
spaghetti with a drizzle of olive oil and a
hint of garlic..no trendy ingredients and
unnecessary flourishes.
