Perfect in it's simplicity of line. shape and proportion.
Its as though a grand ocean liner has been docked
in the chaotic centre of one of the worlds most
(in)famous red light districts ; Pigalle.
I love the way the small round windows contrast
with the large, expansive white wall of the clean facade.
The red type above the door, ' the Cigale' and
the sleek line of the roof just top it all off
to perfection.
