Cool Kids

Check out the amazingly cool energy of

these kids. I think their creativity and

self expression is inspiring.

We should all try and have the fresh outlook

that children have.

Let's paint with bright colours and

design with no preconceptions.

It is only as we over-think things as we get

older that our palettes get all murky (as

acknowledged in one of my favourite films;

'Six Degrees of Separation'

Kids have a way of just not complicating

things.

It's great to see the future is in good hands

with these lot!

Elegance..

Can true elegance be defined...I think

definitions of what is elegant, change;

but elegance is also timeless...


What is elegance...I don't know myself,

except that I think you know it when you

see it.

Undefinable and nonchalantly stylish

Matching the mood and surroundings.

Culturally appropriate.

Luxuriously simple.

Carnival Keleidescope

Carnival colour. Celebration,

no inhibitions, chaos,...there is something

about a street in the midst of a carnival

that gets me into a photographic frenzy!

It is as though everyone is in the moment...

expressing themselves creatively,

dancing and showing off like native

tribesman during an ancient ritual.

After all...those primeval urges to let go and

just be, are always within us no matter where

we live.
