Ship Ahoy

Who needs to take to the sea in a Cruise ship?

The art deco style of architecture was all about taking
inspiration from sea fairing vessels. Port hole windows,
curved lines, whiter than white exteriors.
The excitement if sea travel came to cities all over the
world. This in turn created an exciting, futuristic ( at this time)
design aesthetic at this time.
Living in a 30's deco apartment myself, I know how
soothing all those flowing curves and ship shape lines
are to live with. And in cities by the water like Sydney,
Miami, San Francisco and LA, it is only natural that
this nautical inspired architecture evolved. All hands on deck.
Just pretend anyway
