There is something about Japanese packaging that is

just a cut above.

More Anime Magic

The Japanese Anime phenomenon is now influencing

so many areas of pop culture including the beauty

industry, music and music videos...(see Nicki Minaj or

The Black Eyed Peas) .

Not to mention fashion with the theatrical ,

cartoonish , heroic or baby-doll looks being

adopted by many Japanese kids, and lately I have

seen evidence of it's influence in other parts of Asia

such as Bangkok.

I am sure it is only a matter of time before girls in

London and LA are donning huge false eyelashes ,

braiding their hair and wearing aprons with heels

on the street.

SUMO

I was staying in a hotel in Cairns, Northern Queensland

and there just happenned to be a Sumo wrestler

convention there...I kid you not!

I took this photo as they all sat and sun-baked by the pool.

It has to be one of my favourites.

tights.

Girls in ..

tights.

You have to have noticed that tights are

the new lower-half staple for most inner

city girls.

They have been for some time now and

don't seem to be going any time soon.

In Japan I noticed that boys are getting in on

the black tight action. Under shorts as seen here.

They make them look very sporty cool I think,

especially with the day-glo white trainers.

How come in Japan, they look great in most

things that probably wouldn't translate as

well anywhere else?
