Blue is cool. Literally, fashionably and
historically cool.
Ask Elvis about blue suede shoes.
Or Yves Klein who used blue as a spiritual,
symbolic and sensual component in all of
his art..so much so that Yves Klein blue
is now a recognised shade.
Many of the Hindu Gods are blue,
and who can forget the stunning blue tinged
cinematography of James Cameron's
'Aliens', cold , atmospheric and other
worldly in the extreme.
Now 'The Avatar' creates a world where
the heroes are blue. Pure and righteous.
The colour of the earth from space,
the colour of the sky and the sea..
blue is cleansing and fresh and the
perfect antidote to the stress of
our busy cities.
